Two more of these have finally shipped out. My goal is to finish off all the remaining orders so that I can kill this product off. Ugh, it's been a ridiculously long slog and my deepest apologies to everyone who is still waiting.
looks nice, I just want to get a manual battery disconnect without all the extra bells and whistles.
We have them on our local volunteer fire dept. and ambulance apparatus.
They are usually just under the seat in the front.

It was almost a year ago that I purchased my first Land Cruiser and joined IH8MUD. Baselining the vehicle involved a lot of work and research into old MUD threads. It was not long before I came across Wits’ End. Looking at the range of specialty products on their website I assumed that Wits’ End was a cleverly marketed “boutique” division of some large parts company. I posted a question about a product and waited for the usual canned response.
I was stunned when Joey called me at home later that night. We spent a while on the phone and he was very patient with a range of newbie questions. This was my first inkling that the LC community was different from any car forum I had previously belonged to.
Fast forward a year later and Joey called me again last night to answer an install question regarding his Battery Disconnect panel (question still newbie level given the expertise on this site). If Joey DOES turn out to be an advanced AI program developed by some clandestine marketing team at NAPA or Amazon I will be really disappointed. -Ted

Hey, nothing ventured nothing gained. I gather you will not just curl up and not bother with other projects, go forward man...............MUD.........expects!

No, just this one. I lost a ton of money on this and needed to end it so I stopped losing. Then I focused on other stuff and my motivation to finish was not there even though these guys gave me their hard earned money. It’s embarrassing. But I had to push myself to keep moving it forward. It DEFINITELY doesn’t help when I have vendors that are equally as disinterested in this project
The worst part is I love the product. It’s seriously fxxxing cool.
@NLXTACY just had a peek on the website and it looks like what is left is just the FR battery disconect and the blank panel. Am I right or does the panel have the volt meter etc mentioned in the earlier posts? I could use the battery disconnect for a few reasons but i would want to have the second battery isolated as well. I think i would need to do some substantial rewiring but nothing to extreme.
