It’s a hard gig… especially for a white male caucasian with a job.
An employee of ours has done it for many years and lives in the shadow of his better half. He’s coming to realize it’ll likely always be his side gig.
Next time you hire your buddy to hook up your trailer plug for a 15 pack, make sure he doesn't drink it first then do the job. I deleted the trailer plug, cleaned up about 20 crappy splices and connections and still no running lights. The wire in the rear harness was dead so I ran a new wire all the way from the head light switch. 3 hours of lying on my back swearing all the while. But I got her. Now I can drive in the dark.
I will try to take a better picture once it gets dark. I did up grade all the bulbs with German light bulbs that are twice the watts.
Last thing is the wipers which I have had apart a dozen times already. FML
Are you planning on having a trailer hitch? Curt has a 2" receiver hitch for a Mitsubishi Montero that uses the same bolt pattern as cruisers. I'm planning on going that route at some point.

Im more on the hunt for bumperettes and a factory rear step. I have 2 other trucks that can pull way more so I figured I dont have to install a trailer hitch.
I put all the heat ducting back together and now she blows hot and defogs. Does anybody know if those two wholes on the firewall by the passengers feet are stock??? I really don't think so myself but?
Left picture is with the old bulbs and 4wheeldrive in Alberta sent a me a light kit with brighter bulbs. I cant tell the difference? new on the bottom.
Unfortunately they didn't send enough to do the front signal lights or the interior dome light. I was told it was a complete kit for the whole truck soooo???? I feel shorted.

Is it the armature or everything else that's bad on yours?
I had one where it was all that self park speed control crap that was shyte, so I popped my armature into a 12v wiper motor that was fresh, and it was good to go.

Never mind!!! I just spent the last 2 hours and the 17th time I've had it apart. Looks like this idiot over here put too long of screws in the wiper motor housing and jammed the linkage. Stupid dump F.U.C.K I am. So I burnt out the last motor. I soldered some of the good brushes into another wiper motor I had and bingo was his name-o. Its not just a fair-weather-cruiser any more. Low, high and park all work. The only thing thats left on this cruiser that doesn't work is the windshield washer fluid pump.
