Auxiliary Fuel Tanks for 200s

Yes, estimate for install of 40 and 24 is 8 hours. 13 is a little more because you need to drill holes to mount the cross member then finesse the back nut in a position that’s a PIA.

Final specs for 24? They are as follow.... 24 gallons :)

We are still working on details for payment- will be prepay for next order and deposit on orders further out. Gotta think about timing of the 24 and order deposits, etc.

Apologize for incomplete info, but we wanted to keep y’all in the loop now that we are out of the tunnel.

More to come.
I have a 2016 landcruiser (NC). I am interested in the smaller auxiliary gas tank

Thanks for answering all the questions guys. You know you have a desired product on hand when you have this level of inquiry.

Do you guys anticipate any issues with LX installs?

Can I purchase this for DIY install? I've got a full stack garage worth of tools. Even welder but hope that'll be unnecessary.

Excited about this mod!

One of the bonuses I think of with the tank option is how it frees up space on my rear swing-outs for other items.

I think of things like Maxtrax mounts, propane, water, or a second spare. So it's not just range. It becomes equipment capacity as well.

Or...just easier use of my Slee ladder with nothing mounted on that side.

Very cool.

I'm excited about this too. Going to hold out for the 24 gal version and see if @ACC Toyota will want to tackle this for the Atlanta community. Maybe even a group shipping situation this summer when they are available.

No rush for me. Won't really need it for a few years when we move out West, but excited none-the-less.

Thanks - full disclosure is a good thing :)

We have not had an LX (100 or 200) to assess issues, but they are on the to-do list now that we are back from Melbourne.

No worries on DIY installs. We are working on expanded installation documentation and the kits are well within the capabilities of a knowledgable owner. Unfortunately, we are not able to sell or ship to retail customers with California addresses.... Feel free to call and discuss what, why, how, where of CARB issues - my direct number is 1-209-636-0831.

Cheers!

Production capacity for the April shipment is limited but we will make every effort to fill order, in order paid. We plan for mid-month container shipments every month, so if you don't make it on that shipment, there will be another following close behind.

If you have already registered your interest via our customer portal here Request a Quote - we will send an invoice for your stated tank size, for payment of the $300 deposit. If you have sent an email, PM, text, etc. we will send you an email to confirm your request, including tank size. To be safe, you can always go to the link and tell us again.

Orders MUST provide specific tank kit/size from the three listed above, together with your contact information, including address. WE WILL NOT SELL TO OR SHIP TO CALIFORNIA ADDRESSES.

If you have not sent your order through that link, please do so and we will get you hooked up. Indications of interest so far are within our production capacity at this point, so we do not anticipate any problems.

Summary….. send us an order and pay the deposit (along with payments for the balance and shipping) and we will have a tank in your hands by around June 1.

Please email questions to info@cruiserbrothers.com or call me (Ward) at 1-209-636-0831 - my direct number.

We are here to help.

You can order thru Duc :)
PS - Anyone else ordering thru Duggy’s Garage will get a deal on shipping as we can get up to six tanks on a pallet.....

So will @indycole be the only CA resident with an aux tank?
Test tank for offroad use only.

See notation above - we will not sell retail orders or ship to California addresses.

I will go with the 13 gallon - take my money :D

BTW- is that 13 usable gallons or holds 13 gallons. Won't make a difference in my selection, just want to know

Maybe this will help others why I selected the 13 gallon.

I have the front runner two 5 gallon Can bracket to hold on my roof rack, here it is on my 100. Works the same on my 200

I figure if I go somewhere that needs 24 gallons of extra fuel I could still use that along with two more holders in my Camper (for 34 gallons).

I have on occasion sliced a tire and not wanting to run without a spare had to buy one in town to cover me. Fortunately the Tire shop in Moab is awesome. By getting the 13 gallon I can add a 2nd spare to my truck if and when I want to. I already bought a matching RIM. It will also act as a second spare for my daughters 100 series

I had installed a 13 gallon aux tank on my 80 series. I loved that mod as I could go all the way from Denver to Moab without stopping. I never wished I had a bigger Aux tank

I just figured the 13 gallon gave me more capability and flexibility.

Yup, 13

Ya, we can do that.

Ken - your order is officially our first 200 tank revenue sale. Need to drink some more coffee before I cut the invoice - don't want to make any mistakes....

ANYBODY INTERESTED?
TRANSMISSION UPGRADE DISCOUNT PACKAGE

Sitting on the plane, thinking about how to get he 200s launched, ordered, shipped, etc. I realized that many 6 speed 200s in Australia get upgraded with heavy duty valve bodies and torque converter lock-up kits. Cruiser Brothers is US distributer for Wholesale Automatic Transmission of Bayswater (suburban Melbourne) and Georg and I spent two days with Rocket Rod - co-founder of WAT - last week when in Melbourne area.

We just got our first sotck shipment but WAT products have been on MUD for over ten years and are well proven wiht lots of good reviews. Often referred to as "the best upgrade I've made" and great bang for the buck.

So we are thinking that if we are doing advance orders for the tanks for guys that actually use their 200s, maybe some of you all would like to add heavy duty valve body kits and torque converter lock up kits.

Attached info sheets are for the A750F five speeds, but same features/benefits/prices.

Any thoughts? No details, no offer, just asking for guidance/interest.

Thanks!
