I have an FJ40 with a newly installed man-a-fre aux tank set up as a second primary (OEM mechanical fuel pump). Fuel has been flowing fine since install but recently, the FJ has been choking down randomly after I switch to the aux. Front tank works fine so I’ve started working my way back from the relay to id the issue. Installed new relay, new filter, blew out the line…still choking down every few miles when I switch to aux from front tank. About to check the aux breather valve and relay switch (in dash). I noticed the switch in the dash has 5 wires (2 red, a blue, a green, a yellow w/red stripe) connected to a 6-point relay. I don’t see a missing wire that has come unplugged - could this be my issue or is there a situation where that set up (pics attached) can be fully functional?
Any thoughts greatly appreciated.
