Well... It pains me to put this in writing but it's time for me to consider selling the old girl. Unfortunately, it's taken me longer to get back in the workforce than I had hoped and it just doesn't make sense to be sitting on an asset like this when bills need paid and food needs purchased. Feel free to shoot me a message with questions if you're interested. Thanks y'all!

She's not much to look at in the paint department, but she's got a good heart and good bones. I have owned this little billy goat for a little more than 4 years. I have put a ton of time, effort and parts into this project and have enjoyed the process and the ride. It would probably be quicker/easier to list the parts that I haven't replaced/fixed over the years but here's a list of what I can remember at this moment. This is a wonderful 40 in person and you're always happy driving her. You've done a fantastic job over the past few years of making her a better runner than she was new.

great FJ40 here!

Sent you a message requesting more pics. Please send when you can. Thanks

Sorry for the delay @71FFJ40. I will get you those as soon as I can.

Btw, I may pull the truck from the market. I am expecting a job offer this week and the reason for selling will be gone. Sorry for the knee jerk everyone.

Psych! Is what the company said about that job offer. Back to the market for me and my 40!

As requested by @71FFJ40, here are some pics of the engine bay and undercarriage. The paint is super flat with zero clear coat and therefore it soaks up everything that lands on it. The dirt/grime you see is actually stains. An original spring green color paint job has been on my list since I’ve had it. But, that is up to a new owner now I suppose.

This is the only bad rust that I’ve found. First picture is looking up at the driver’s side rocker. Second picture is looking down. Can see a sliver of daylight looking down.
