After extensive contact with 4WD Interiors, we have found that the most cheapest way to get a set of their drawers into our respective trucks is a group buy of 4 drawers.:hillbilly:

OUTBACK 4WD INTERIOR ACCESORIES

Currently we have three serious buyers and are in need of 1 more to make the deal work.

2 buyers are in the Bay Area (CA), and I'm in Denver, CO. So ideally you are located near one of those two places to minimize shipping costs.

PM me for specifics. Thanks!

These are now stocked by ARB in the US. Shipping from Australia could cost you a fortune.

Not to hijeck this thread, but what do people look for in a quality drawer section...ie, construction, materials and design?

The ARB drawers are NOT the 4WD interior drawers. The owner of 4WDI is manufacturing them for ARB, but the ARB units are modular two piece units as opposed to a one-piece tight fit unit.

After pricing both, the difference ends up being negligible and I personally am looking for a permanent, one-piece drawer system.

As for what I was looking for, construction material (didn't want wood), fit, function, strength, and weight.

im intrestead if there not 2 bad

I'm in the bay area and also interested. Do they make these in tan?

With 4 buyers we're looking at right about $2K for drawers w/fridge slider and locking side box (see web site for details). This price includes shipping, customs, etc.

Our order is going in next week, so please be serious and ready to go if you are interested. Yes, they come in tan or grey.

PM me for specific purchase details.

Curious if anyone knows...

Does anyone know if these will fit with the wagongear tailgate lid? I'm trying to find a good solution and these look solid. I'm also going to put in a rear barrier so hopefully everything will fit.

Anyone have any thoughts?

There is very little difference between these systems and the ARB are a very tight fit.. IPOR has these instock with slides for approx $1700 hundred and if you have any issues ARB and IPOR are stateside. You indicated one piece.... aren't they shipped as frame pieces that have to be bolted together? Not the drawers but the frames...I was told that ARB bought the company that builds their system. It just seems like a lot of work...your not saving money, products are almost the same and you have stateside help...just my 2 cents

I got this Product .PDF from the USA ARB site:
http://www.arbusa.com/uploads/PDF/newProductAdvice/ARB_drawerSystems_PR_retail.pdf

It's a big pdf so be patient.

The Double or Multi (side by side) on the middle of page 3 looks to be the same.

Most look modular, but they seem to fit pretty much flush with each other. I cant tell if they had a 1 peice model or not.

BTW: the drawers shown in the OUTBACK web is also a modular very tight fit just like the ones in the brochure in the ARB USA site. I think they are using the same vehicle that is on the top of page 7 on the pdf brochure.

Either way, they look awsome!

pretty steep for a drawer system.

They may be expensive but i can account to the fact that these drawers are bloody brilliant! I bought mine second hand off a mate for $600 and they have lasted for ages and have taken a beating!

If you want a measurement from the rear of the drawer system to the stock tail gate(with carpet attached) send me a PM and ill grab the measurement.

The outback drawers are what ARB here in Australia are selling as their own, (identical drawer system)...

We had one of our four drop out at the last minute. Order goes in on Monday, so if you are near the Bay Area or Denver, shoot me a PM and I'll get you the details.

Please be ready to go if you are interested. Thanks

Just wanted to point out that these drawers are available in tan color despite the website only showing grey. That was the swing vote for me.

2nd row should work as normal...

3rd row would be lost...

according to the website, ~200lbs including the two drawers with side covers (which provide a completely flat surface)
