Attention Fabricators: Make Me These TRUE Step Sliders

I like this idea! After @NLXTACY 's crapping spotting adventure, I was thinking it would be cool if someone fabricated a discrete slider (or whatever you want to call it) that the OEM running board could attach on top of. I know I'm probably in the minority due to clearance being a top priority, but I like the looks of the running boards/fender flares; I just need a little extra protection from the wayward rock!

I've got a new set of running boards, but am not inspired to install them. I am on the fence with White Knuckle sliders...I want something that provides protection as well as keeping some of the original characteristics.

I think rocky road builds a nice looking slider but some here have said that it's crap. Still, an alternative

I like these, can you run the front mudflaps with these?

That would be a question for the guys at Iron Pig Offroad ...I don't run mud flaps and don't think i could based on length but these are made
in house so they could make a set that would allow you to run mud flaps.. I had them made about 1 inch wider then the normal step slider
