Anybody using an atlas transfer with the driveshaft going to an offset rear diff?

In what wheelbase vehicle?

If you are doing this in a wagon, you *might* be able to get away with it...

Short wheel base, not likely......It was an expensive undertaking to get the Atlas into my Red truck so that I could run it down the road and play with it off road....And I run a centered rear diff and a high pinion at that...

I have a centered rear Cruiser/hybrid for sale that is off my 62 if you are interested. Has disc brakes too.

It is in a 100" wheelbase cruiser. The rear driveshaft is about 22" long. I have a 4link withfj62 axles, discs and poly performance axles in it. It now has a h42/toybox/3speed case. I was planning on going to 700r4/toybox/split case. problem is Marlin does not currently have a shaft to fit the split case and has no idea when he will have them.

I already have a built rear axle and do not want to build another one

22" DS will not work with an offset diff and centered T-case..

If you buy Chevota88's Axle you can slide your 3rd member right into that housing.. Easy as Pie! and that's a good axle, i helped him put it together, and Tony is a good Guy!

have you checked to see if AA makes a rockbox that will adapt the 700r4 to a 60 series split-case?

some of them use front wheel drive drivetrains. The transaxle is the 't-case' in that case. But you may be on to something, i'm not sure for more traditional drivetrains. I know some use split cases.

It won't work with that drivetrain. Too much offset and then too much droop.

I would look into a 32 spline Orion. That is the ticket if you dont want to change rear axles.

As for the moonbuggies, most all have Atlas Tcases, but most are mounted backwards and offset.
