Hi Guys. I'm gauging interest in my '88 FJ62. She was purchased new in Albuquerque, NM, and stayed there until 2019 when I brought her to Atlanta. I've got the original window sticker and service history from 2001 to present. @cruisermatt did the H-55F swap, t-case & lift, along with various other items & I'm extremely happy with his work. No rust. The PO had a little oopsie, resulting in an aftermarket front left fender & repaint. I'm really interested to hear everyone's (well, probably most everyone's) thoughts. What do you think of the condition? What do you think I should ask for it?

As much as it pains me to say it.... BAT is the way to go for something this nice. I would say this is in excellent condition based on the little info we have here. Good look... I'm just looking for a beater patina truck.... but this is resto trailer queen material with just a little work. Very nice truck.

Very nice. Leave it here for awhile and then if it doesn't sell, take it to BAT.

Interested!
So what's the up keep on the this motor?
What's the compression in each cylinder.
You can call me if you like.

Hi John,

I’m happy to give you the compression numbers next week, when I return home from vacation. The upkeep has been fastidious and extremely well documented. @cruisermatt - I’m not sure if you ran compression tests, but I’m sure any thoughts you have on the truck would be valuable here.

This 62 is very nice and accurately represented.

It should be noted the H55f, lift, and service work was about $15k at my shop only a few months ago. Basically, in today’s market it would be difficult to replicate something like this for the price.

As for compression I don’t think we ever took numbers, because there was zero reason to. It always fired up perfectly and had good power.

Clint also didn’t mention it has 10% OD high range gears in the T-case so it cruises really well at 75-80. It also makes the low H55f 1st/2nd gears way more usable.

Maybe some pictures of the rebuilt T-case? :)

The FJ62 3FE and 5 speed is a great set up, I think the ultimate 60 series combo!

This looks like a nice truck that was improved correctly, good luck with sale and congratulations to the next owner, it would be difficult not to enjoy!
