Awesome find. I had an 82 for a number of years and loved it. Rode like a tank but damn would go anywhere.

You gotta figure out a way to use those wheels. They look killer! Good job on getting the truck running. I had an old varnished gas experience last night as well with my old Kawasaki KDX 200. What I thought would be a quick blast around the block morphed into a PITA fuel system rehab. Bike is torn down and my shop looks like the damn thing just exploded. Parts everywhere.
I bought a set of USA made 1.5” spacers for our 40 for like $150 a couple years ago, if I can figure out where I got them I’ll let you know, somewhere online. Thanks! Yeah I’m really digging the wheels as well. I’ve been reading a bunch and they will work with a set of 1 1/2” spacers. Just gotta try and find a set cheap, I have a hard time spending $250 on spacers for this truck LOL
Lucky!!!!
I have been looking for a camper for my truck for years.
Also did some serious wrenching on another truck that evening........
