I've posted this before but just a quick reminder:

Noise was pronounced on right hand turns over bumpy roads, eminating from the driver side. Possibly from under the floor area but not sure. As of late, this particular noise seems to be more pronounced, even on straight, broken asphalt road. Perhaps something inside the driver door? This is not a squeak or rattle. But, rather a heavy metal on metal sound. More tire air pressures make the noise more pronounced.

The noise does seem to go away/reduced when going through rain, or wheelin in wet conditions.

Here's what I've done so far:
-tighten body bushings
-no loose wheel bearings
-checked front radius arms and rear trailing arm bolts and bushings
-not rear sway bars (still noisy when disconnected)

Anything else to check/tighten?

Thanks fellas.

And you know it's not your birf, right?

It's not the birfs but the motor/tranny mounts sound promising. I was looking at the motors mounts last night and was trying to figure out the best wayt to check them. They look beefy! I know that my exhaust system moves over 1/2" under load near the cats. I thought this was normal but perhaps a sign of something bigger? Also, the motor mounts should show themselves when I'm accelerating or loading up the drivetrain.

I have a 101 FC Landover that used to make a strange noise, this too was quietened when going though deep puddles! I traced this down to the belts that drove the alternator which absorbs a few HP to drive on this as it is 90+ amps at 24 volts. I put up with it for a while adjusting it with out much success, and eventually I replaced the belts and all was well. The thing is I had no idea what it was and was quite surprised when I eventually discovered the cause as the noise was not one I have heard before.

That seems excessive to me. See if a mount is broken.

broken shock? play in the axle from a loose axle clip? spindle/axle contact, loose

I had a bizarre noise once from the front wheel well causes by a loose rubber skirt. It made a slapping sound that scared the daylights out of me.

What's the safest way to check if a motor mount is broken? Pry bar method or have someone step on the brake/gas while someone else watch? Look at the top of the motor to see the amount of movement while gas/braked?
