Well after ringing about 20 ARB shops it seems that they have no bull bars at the moment and have no intention of making anymore anytime soon.

Thanks for the input and pics.
I ended up getting one and it arrived today, it is sitting in my Beetle as I type waiting for me to take it home and put it on the BJ42.
Ended up costing me $696 delivered which was going to be cheaper than fabricating something up and getting it powdercoated. Besides I don't mind the look... guess I will have to see what it looks like on my cruiser.

hehe no I got it off a local company - Custom Offroad Components they are going to build my rear bar and tyre carrier for me as well.
ARB told me the same CRAP ... so I just rang around ARB shops and found one in Sydney so rang Custom Offroad back and they just got ARB to move it up to the Brisbane Office and then had it delivered for me.
Sweet bar, will look good, should have pics on the weekend.

Could you take a close up of how you mounted the hi-lift? I would like to see the foot and the middle mounting point. I have the longer version of the jack and it is wider than the cruiser and need a better place to mount it instead of horizontal.

sweet, they really are a cheap option when you look at what you get. Apart from the box being full of sand blast grit the bar looks very cool
yeah got that grit too. Watch out for the chipping paint.
I am getting mine repainted, don't like the black colour anyway. Two pack should fix the chipping problem.Rob
