Anyone tried Xenopro LED headlights?

Will it be too bright to have the 301HLB2 for low beams and 351HLB for fogs? It's soo much light I don't really need to bother with the high beams.

1/2 way through lo-beam IPF install

So you want them more yellow? You can buy yellow bulbs. I run yellow LED fogs in my 2011 and OPT-7 LEDs in my low beam projectors.

Thinking maybe he wants them to look “intentionally” yellow vs. a mis-match...?

I’d prefer they were same color white.

Unless you know your Kelvin rating for your current low beams, it'll be hard to match. I am assuming your low beams are halogen or HID. Simple fix is to replace whatever you have and buy matching fog lights. So long as the Kelvin number is the same, they should be a close match.

Just arrived from Amazon Japan:

IPF 351HLB2 - the 5,000 Lumen version.

They come with the HB3/9005 O-rings installed which will be perfect for my high beam replacements. A packet with the HB4/9003 O-rings and a wrench for adjusting the angle of the dangle, an IPF sticker and some very detailed instructions (lucky I read Japanese ;)) are included in the box.

I'll post up pics after I install them - time is tight because of the holidays, so might not be for a few days.

Mine came yesterday for my low beams. I plan to get them installed tomorrow. My older model ones I am planning to put in my fogs.

Just got the new IPF fogs installed. Pretty bright in person in a well lit room, will give my thoughts later after seeing how it performs at night.

Fog lights ran more expensive than the low beam bulb at $175, older model was only $10-15 cheaper.

So a little confused. Will an HLB (headlight bulb) fit in a fog light too?

Why bother with HLB vs FLB?

Also, I’m not trying to match color balls on (have no clue what Kelvin rating is) but read somewhere that the IPF 50DFLB is 6500K which is close to oem headlight?

Yes

Yes, FLB is lower lumen output. Fogs are not supposed to be as bright as high beams. I put my HLB in fog lights as I runs my fogs on all the time and prefer more light but may reflect more in fog.

One thing pics dont show is how much light is coming from the side of the vehicle because of the fogs. I did notice two people who adjusted rear view mirrors while I was behind them. No one has hibeamed me soo far. Streets are not looking black anymore, pretty well lit. I asked a friend if they thought I would be pulled over for lighting up the entire street and they didnt think so because the fogs are pretty low to the ground. I am only giving off 8600 lumens

Well, I must report that these are the brightest bulbs I have ever had in any OEM light housing ... ever.

The bulbs are designed to be installed vertically so the LED arrays can be equally projected into the reflector on both sides. I was lucky as mine aligned perfectly out of the box:

It's always difficult to compose pictures that accurately convey the light brightness and color, so I chose to do it in a way that others can judge using their own experience as a guide. For the first two pics the exposure was fixed so it would not change with changing light and the white balance was set to Daylight.

Here is what my truck lights look like with the HID low beams, LED accent lights and yellow halogen fogs:

The picture is purposely underexposed, so if you are familiar with the brightness of the OEM HID low beams, then you can judge the overall brightness of the lights.

Using the same exposure and white balance settings, here is what my truck looks like with the HID low beams and the IPF 351HLB2 high beams (fogs automatically cut out when high beams are turned on):

You can see that if I had properly exposed the first pic, then the high beams would have completely washed out the pic. These babies are BRIGHT!

Now, with a different exposure, but the same for both the following pics, here's what the HID low beams and fog lights look like reflected off my garage door (white balance still set to Daylight):

Turn on the IPF LED's and here's what you see:

Install was easy, everything worked as it should first time. Cooling fan noise was much less than I expected - with the engine off I had to listen for the fans, with the engine running they are inaudible. DRL's do not work, but I was expecting that - and I use the parking lights with the LED accent strips as DRL's anyway.

I highly recommend these lights.

Nice photos.

I'm currently driving through light fog in Canada with mine and they are working well in my fog lights. No reflection issue. Ive had a few people high beam me but I dont think its because I am blinding them they are seeing how much light I am outputting and thinking my highs are on.
