Anyone tried Xenopro LED headlights?

IMO philips HIR are the best setup you can get for the non-HID 200s, or high beams in those too. Copious amounts of light, correct color temperature, perfect beam pattern unlike every drop-in LED, etc.

The only thing you need to do is trim a small tab of plastic off the base to get it to fit.
Are these the Philips you reference?

Those will fit in the high beams. 9011 is the HIR equivalent to the stock 9005 bulbs in that location, with one very small adjustment to the bulb base.

It looks like the low beams may not have a HIR application.. I assumed 200-series cruisers used 9005/9006 bulbs like my 80 did. You'll need something that fits in H11. I've used philips x-tremevision in my other cars with good results. There are some people that modify H9 bulbs to fit but that pulls 10 more watts and isn't a great idea with stock wiring.

For stock '08, my understanding the bulbs are:

Low beam- H11 bulb. X-tremeVision upgrade
Fog light- 9006 bulb. X-tremeVision upgrade
High beam- 9005 bulb. X-tremeVision upgrade

I might look for some yellow for the fog lights. Snow, mist and fog driving..........

I've had such good luck with the 9011s I'd go with those in the highs, personally. I have them in that location in my 2013 and they are very, very bright.

Good call on the yellows. Mine is a 2013 and has a different fog bulb, but I run Nokya H16 hyper yellow in that location and they are great in fog/mist, and look very good as well.

Anyone mix led yellow in the fogs with xtremevisions in the low (or other halo’s in the low - hi)? Bad idea?
I don’t want to pull the fogs twice. 👍

Old one, but yes. I've got Hikari LEDs for my mains, and then diode dynamics ss3 pro yellow fogs

Any 13-15 LX owners installed LED's in the high beam projector housing? If so, can I see a picture of the light output on a wall few feet away? I installed morimoto 2 stroke and am unhappy with the output. LED's are in the 3 & 9 position but the output is distorted.

I'm interested in these for the highs on my newly acquired 2013. I can find the 9011s, but that same search generates several results for the 9012. Is this a recent update to the bulb or a different bulb all together?

I suspect 9011 is rare enough that you get some bleed over into other formats when doing a search. From memory the 9012 is yet another bulb base format with a slightly different tab on it to prevent interchange.. sometimes the incompatibility could be different wattage or the filament being in a slightly different location (which can drastically alter beam pattern), even if the bulb looks identical. Similar to the difference between 9005 and 9006.

I’d stick with the standard 9011 in a well respected brand because it is proven to work. I used the basic Philips 9011 HIR application and it has worked really well.

Thanks for quick response, @bloc.
