While shopping for my replacement 200 I found this. Recent trade and they are still cleaning it up. Currently only one pic. Looks built to some degree. I my mind, a built 200 is a weird trade in as I would think people into building 4x4s would private sell. Price is pretty good if the build was done well and its been taken care of. Price might be too good. My built 2013 with 176K miles was valued by insurance at $51K.

CT then UT vehicle history.. that's a pass for me, personally.

rust belt? generally, I'm looking in TX, AZ, OK and a couple in CA. I did find one, single owner 2013 in SC with only 50K miles. I was a day late.

Yes, rust would be a concern. I am semi local ... 40 minutes south. Interesting history. Probably brought out to Oootah as a winter vehicle (lots of second homes in Park City). Then sold, then sold again, and again, and once more. If you do not get the pictures / info needed I would be happy to cruise up and get some pictures for you. There is another mudder on the who is more local to the area who might have more knowledge about the build and previous owner.

thanks. I'll see what the dealer sends me. I have mixed feelings about buying someone else's build. I think that could work out and be a way to save a lot of money vs. paying retail for all the mods of a build but I know me and I will want the truck my way. If I'm going to hit the reset button here, I think I'm most likely to go with a clean TX/AZ soccer mom truck as the base and literally put all the good parts on the new truck.

Price is really good, you're essentially getting all the mods for free and there's got to be $10k+ there easy. Front bumper w/ winch, rear bumper w/ tire mount, armor, snorkel, rack, wheels, spacers...

Judging solely from the blurry picture of the front skid plate and bumper it doesn't look thrashed. Still has the running boards so they couldn't have driven over too many boulders...

Even if the mods were done poorly, you were going to be working on it anyway right? They'd have to be really bad to be unsalvageable. Seems worth a visit at least.

I noticed the running boards too and had the same thought. Maybe the Owner is just a lot better at picking lines than me...

2015 - Less miles - and you can take your time with how you would like it set up.

Also, I'm not a fan of snorkel's, but that's just my personal preference.

A friend of mine test drove it. Had a previous accident. He passed in it.

Why did he pass? The accident?
He thought it was ok but was seeing others at better values/conditions without accident history...

After the price drop my friend stopped in and looked at it again. KDSS was unhooked and just hanging with an aftermarket sway bar installed. Decent amount of rust in frame and bolts. Just didn't seem like it was well taken care of. Lots of bouncing in the rear end. 3rd row was missing for those that would want it.

Price is not bad and he got the feeling they'd drop a bit more on price, but he passed for the 2nd time and is still on the hunt.
