I'm restoring a split hood.. and the washer squirters are gonzo.. and it seems like OEM ones are hard to find.. so i was wondering what anyone else has used as replacements.. as i'm sure someone out here has encountered the same issue with these 35+ year old hoods.

Those nozzles look nice.. but i need 2 individual sprayers for a split hood.. those nozzles are designed for 1 in the middle of the hood like on the later hoods.

I too am looking for these. Mark at Marksoffroad.net may have these. He has always been a good source for the old school stuff. There is also CruiserDan or Spector. Good luck!

still looking..

well i did a bunch of other stuff to the 40 since this thread.. but still haven't done the hood.. and in fact i am still wondering if anyone has a good suggestion for an aftermarket spray nozzle that works with the older split hoods..

Have you tried calling Mark?

was there an fj55 that used 2 washer nozzle's?

I dont know if thety are the same ...if they would work or not...just i knoticed it

this one comes up that requires 2 :
OEM Catalog
Item Number MSRP Core Price Price
8534160040 $7.13 $0.00 $5.70

NOZZLE, WASHER

I was just asking this same question... Did a search and came up with this thread.

SOR appears to have used for $12 each.
Are OEM vailible these days?
Other options?

I really don't care all that much about what the source... As long as they work (and fit).
I've even thought a pair of adjustable three nozzle units might really help.

oem # was:
85035-60010 for the 2 nozzels....but...Part number 8503560010 was superseded by part number 8503595189.

OEM Catalog
Item Number MSRP Core Price Price
8503595189 $15.95 $0.00 $12.76

NOZZLE

Does anyone know if the new number is also for 2 nozzles?

I'd ask at the local dealeship... If I thought they'd have a clue... But experience has shown that they likely don't.

I'd do two of the ETs, but I also live where they use this crappy crud that coats the windshield when the snow melts (mag chloride). I'd love to be able to fine tune the pattern from four jets!

My stock 69 nozzles are pretty pitiful. One tiny stream out of each. If you don't mind not being stock Id upgrade to something that will put out a wider pattern.

Sounds like there's room for improvement with yours. Could you drill them to have larger holes, or get a stronger pump?:hhmm:

I've made due without them since 96... Pain in the Ass sometimes.

A quick search on ebay netted this set that would look close enough to stock.

They look close enough... The price is good... My concern would be where they spray since they don't look adjustable.

Anyone familiar with Toyota hilux nozzles?

If I could I'd like 2 jets per nozzle.:D
