Just bought a snorkel and I need help installing, more so just someone with tools to cut the hole haha I can trade beer/ moonshine for labor.

If you bought the ARB it shouldn't be much trouble as they provide a good template.

If you chose an Ebay knockoff then you're pretty much shooting from the hip.

I'll likely buy a knockoff for my 80 soon...I'll just make my own template for the cost difference.

Good luck with your install!

Where are you at in the whales vagina?? A few club members up here in North Whales Vagina have put their own one.

I'm in the West part of the whales vagina... just moved out here for college and don't have tools

Where at in the "western part of the whales vagina" are you!?

I'm no help for installing the snorkel but I'm in ocean beach and it is always nice to know other cruiser heads. I will also go the eBay snorkel route one day as well. I've seen a few guys around this area with snorkels installed but I don't know them personally.

Go to your local home improvement store and buy the hole saw. Go to harbor freight and get the small step drill bit and automatic center punch. See if you have a beehive or action rental or tool rental place and rent a drill for the day.

Already bought the hole saw went with a 3 5/8's should start cutting tomorrow and with this storm coming I'll see how it fairs on flooded roads

Normally I'd offer up some assistance but am tapped out on time at the moment. My snorkel is sitting in the garage waiting as well.

Post pics when you get done. A 'cheat sheet' would come in handy when I get ready to do mine.

When you're done you can sit back and drink da' kine and admire your handy work brah!

OP: I'm in east county, Ramona to be specific. If you wanted to make the drive on a weekend, you'd be welcome to use my tools and do cruiser stuff there in my driveway. I'm often in the garage wrenching on mine on the weekends. I've got plenty of tools to get most any job done.

Beach N Toys land cruiser club in North county has a few folks with them...me not being one...
