Hmmm. Looks like a 12H, but with a bigger displacement if engine Australia is right. I wonder if the 11Z block would match with 12HT parts.
Crap, another wish on the list.

I think we had a post on fork lift engines before. They have an output of about 60hp.
It also has a bigger brother called the 13Z.
Someone was installing one into their 60 series in Scandinavia but I dont recall hearing the final result.

This is a member of NLCK in Norway's truck.

He has done a 13Z conversion on his hj60.

It is a 4,6 liter

If you kan norsk så kan du read about it here:

Short english version: custom clutch-housing, custom enginemounts ,h55 gearbox. Besides that pretty straight forward.
In the forklift it developes 300nm at 1200rpm:eek:(no turbo)
He says it was restricted in all kinda way's in the forklift..So it officially had around 60hp.

He now has a pretty beefy turbo.. Biggest problem has been with finding a clutch that holds...it slips a bit in 3 gear+

Others have said "it's not fast, but the low-end grunt is unparalelled..."

I wouldn't think clutch slipping would be an issue.... The clutches in these trucks are pretty freaking beefy... I've pulled a few stumps out with my truck... and I also straightened up my corolla with it... even when hot my clutch always grabs very very well....

that being said I don't have a 13z under the hood....

Well it's what he said.... the 2H has 240nm at 1800rpm...the 13Z has 300nm at 1200rpm.... ad a big turbo to that and you have some serious torque... I think it was the original 2H clutch that was to weak... I'm not sure what he has done about it..
