Just curious on your thoughts....Last year for the 300Z Twin Turbo

squeel like a piggy....!! Looks like reletive humidity (know what that is?)

Personally I like that body style better than that of the new 340(?)Z, inside and out. I liked the rear lip spoiler of the earlier ('90-ish) better though.

BTW, my friend who's lending me his rig during my stay has let me drive his modded Eagle Talon TSi (AWD turbo) with about 23lbs of boost. HOLY COW!!! It can do 1/4 in 12 sec and it was BRUTALY, and SCARY fast!!!

I've head that you can't run that much boost with the 300ZX though. But it would still be plenty fast for me (more of a GT, I think).

The Z is my dream car! I agree with MOT, that the 1991-1996 body style is the best! The TT Z had 4wheel steering, and a very fast engine. I never had the chance to drive a TT only a non turbo, but it was still a great car! I so want a TT Z, again my dream. Find a good one Razor!

I had a buddy in High school who's dad would let us borrow that exact same year and model..... 16 year olds doing 140 on back roads........ looking back i cant believe he let us drive that thing....

Surely, that's not what you're looking at in Lenoir City is it?? Is it a drop top? Bad ass cars, but I was always more of a Supra fan myself.

That's a sweet car Razor, I love that bodystyle! One of the best to sportscar designs. It's very hard to work on, if you plan on wrenching yourself.

The new Z.... ugh.

The Sept issue (I think) of Automobile mag just listed the 25 most beautiful cars EVER! Guess what? The Z (1990 - 1996) is one of the 25, you should see the other cars, it is in VERY good company! DAMMMMMMMMM RAZOR you now are making me lust after one of those cars again!!

fat, overinflated, style over substance, and don't handle as well their other japanese rivals... dumbed down for the american market

that's how they're described in Australian Motor Mag...

a few notes...

the non-turbo and 2+2 are crap. the conv is only available as a non-turbo. i could be wrong, but i dont remember an all-wheel-steering version of that car, only the old 240sx. most of the TTs have been beat to hell so finding a good one can be tough unless youre willing to pay for it. a buddy has a 650hp 300zx and its just sick. its still a classy looking car 15 years later.

Driven a Z and some did have rear steer models. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Twin...oryZ6398QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem TT is super fast. Very nice car. Though as said above most have been ragged out. It's hard to find one in good shape.

They had the same basic suspension as the skyline but suffered from having a 55/45 weight distrubution and rear whell drive. Made them a little slow 0-60. Still a great car.

Yes, I've driven one. Nice car, but a maintenance nightmare.

I agree. Nice but a mkiv supra turbo is king of 1993-1998. I miss my '97 and will always regret selling it.

I drove one once in a straight line for about 1/4 mile. My impression was that it was pretty damn fast!

Unfortunetly, the 67 Beetle next to me was also running a turbo and it was about 2 car lengths in front of me.

But it wasn't my money so who cares:D

Check out twinturbo.net if you want to get the scoop on the Z32 and find one for sale that's well-maintained, but it's a little like Pirate so noobs beware.

That ZX is nice. I had a 79 ZX, a 84 Z and a 96 TT Z. They are great when running but maintainance is a major hassle and they are difficult to work on.

The 96 ate a valve, then crapped a main bearing. Box motor and first one than the other AFM, a junkyard transmission, rebuilt the trans, last straw. Sold it while it was running.
