Here's one in Heath Gray I came across this eve: Toyota Land Cruiser FJ43 - Silodrome
Here is mine in Heath Grey matte.
Here's a 60 in Heath Gray (built by elite cruisers). I drool over this one! I'm definitely painting my 40 and 60 matching Heath Gray someday!

Well those vehicles above that claim to be both Heath grey in colour are nowhere near the same. That 40 has blue and green in it ... That 60 is pure grey

The only way a photograph would tell the truth in color is if the trucks were side by side in the same lighting and shot with the same camera.
Every digital camera is driven by a CCD that captures the image and color is interpreted by an algorithm written by the manufacturer.
A Sony CCD will produce different color changes than a Canon, Nikon, Olympus or Samsung especially as the lighting
changes. Cloudy days or evenings usually bring on cyan overtones. 10AM to 2PM usually have the best conditions but pass it through the
atmosphere on a smoggy or cloudy day and who knows what shifts you'll get.
Side by side in person all the trucks could look nearly identical.
First image from an I-Phone 8, second from a Nikon D5, third is a Sony A77, all lab conditions. Grays are difficult

Ivan Stewart and Walker Evans in early race days including the debut of Toyota's first cool class 7 truck

Just popped a can of Toyota touch-up paint and appears to be Heath Gray. The other is Freeborn Red based on the splotch and residue by the lid.

Agreed. That's exactly the color I'm looking for. What was the code for the paint you actually put on the truck? According to one website, the Toyota Code for Heath Gray is T-113; the Dupont code is 34876; and the PPG code is 33024. Is that what your paint says?

It’s PPG 33024. Ya, I’ll say it again… looks amazing on a 40 series and even better in person. Still don’t have the truck put together yet, but will be sure to post more pictures once it’s done.
