Works with a diesel. If you bog a gas motor the backpressure will kill the engine pretty easily. Ask me how I know.

Somewhere I have a photograph of a couple guys in a mighty mite in a river with only the snorkel, the exhaust, steering wheel and their heads and shoulders above the water.

How do you know?... I was planning on putting one on my 2005 SR5 V8 4Runner, will it really kill the motor? I'm sure someone will ask so yes I will be crossing very large and deep rivers fairly regularly. We are doing this to our starter expedition rig for our company in Honduras.

Ruthy and Milo - pretty cool rig with a 13BT in it. He also has an FJ45 pickup with a big block V8 which I think also has a stack.

the exhaust shop is going to make it, at least the stack itself, probably go to my weld shop for a stainless expanded type metal for heat shield. stack will be 409 stainless to match my exhaust. will post pics this wed or thursday.

should work with any motor I would think.
