Ok, Noonish and on Chuck's recommendation, meet at the top of the ski lift (just follow the road from the Ski Valley parking lot). For those who want to travel up the backside, meet at the Oracle Circle K, (time to be determined)???
Overnight camping will be an option.

i may not make it. i just got home from surgery on my hand. good chance that doing some offroading is not in my future. i'm kinda one handed for the time being. we'll see.

You've been typing one handed since you got a computer, why can't you drive one handed?

You can hitch a ride with me if you want, but both hands must stay visible.

Alvin - Is the EMPE Beetle still under construction? How's it's gas mileage?

Hope to see you up there!

FJ-60 Parts at the Right Price.... FREE

I've got some FJ-60 stuff that came with my 2F engine. They are from a 1985 FJ-60

They are FREE - Let me know and I will get them up to Mount Lemmon for pickup.

Bell Housing
4 Speed Transmission
Transmission Extension Adapter
Flywheel
Clutch Release Fork & Associated Parts (Cast Type)

The transmission doesn't turn, but it did when I got it. I think that the problem is due to the shifter internal "stuff" sliding into the wrong position when I removed the shift lever. It has been in my garage sealed up since I got the motor.

That bell housing is off a 2F? That, and the 4sp just may find a home in my 40. Anybody know if it will fit?

If so, I am definitely interested.

I have some old style SOR 1/2 doors I can toss in if anyone is interested also.

The bell housing will fit a 2F. With the Tranny, there's a couple of things that might make this harder for a 40.

1) I think you need a split case transfer case.

2) The adapter on the back of the Tranny adds length (actually makes the whole setup the same length as the H55 - 5 Speed).

Somebody who knows more about the FJ-60 should weigh in.

Let me know if you want it, and I'll bring it up.

IIRC, it will also adapt to the 3-speed case, just need the correctly splined gear, Don give Tim a call, he has done a few.

So, To Be Clear....

We are meeting at the Parking Lot on TOP of Mt. Lemmon (Above the Ski Area) at 1200.

Suggested GPS Coordinates are as follows:

32° 26' 27.82" N
110° 47' 1.85" W

These coordinates are for the big open area just before the "official" parking lot and restroom complex.

Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Alvin - Hope your hand is OK. Carpal Tunnel?

Oracle Circle K, 10am for those who want to run the back side.

Rocky, will you be bringing the 4 sp and bell housing?

How much?

I will. They're free, I would appreciate it if you would bring up a 6 pack of Sierra Nevada for "carrying charges"!

Now I just have to get my wife to lift them into the back of the truck this afternoon!

Thanks -

Chuck
