Any Icon 4x4 owners willing to post the wiring diagrams?

Hey guys,

I am going to be building a custom wiring harness for my 40. I would like something to reference and work off of if possible, and I'm pretty sure the way Icon wires their vehicles is pretty damn close to what I had in mind. I was wondering if anyone was willing to post the wiring diagrams they had provided with the vehicle?

Thanks!

Kyle

Icons don’t use wires.......it’s all fiber optics......that is if they truly exist - but im with WhiteStripe and think its all fancy photoshopped websites and vaporware really.

They do exist. I've seen a few and I've met Jonathan Ward but let's just say I don't think you'll find any owners around these parts.

My boss has two Icons and i'm sure he'd have no issue with me snapping pics. That said, it wouldn't be a diagram. Also, one is in Ohio and the other is in Utah and I live in NC. I'm in Ohio 2x per month so I could get pics of that rig if helpful?

Never seen an icon owner here. I imagine because icons come built complete to the owners order. So they don't really need any work done on the owners part.

Yea, they come complete but I watched a bunch of his product videos on youtube and I could have sworn he said he gives all his customers PDF's and diagrams of everything just in case they need to do some troubleshooting/modifications. I could be wrong though.

Anything would help! I really like the clean, utilitarian approach to wiring I've seen in their videos!

Do they just use the VIN off of original cruisers and build everything else from scratch?

Im pretty sure its rebranded as their own product once its finished. Gets a little Icon badge and number.

No ICON's here because this is a Toyota forum. ICON's are Chevy's. Chevy motor , Chevy trans, Chevy transfer case, Chevy axles, Chevy steering column,Chevy steering gear, Chevy brakes, Jeep suspension, I do think they have a Toyota hood though.

I am not sure if this has been implemented yet but they used to have to get old vehicles just for the titles and VINs.

As for the wiring diagram do you think they run everything off the GM computer or run it stand alone? They use crate engines which usually come with a stand alone CPU

Legally Icons are Toyotas as identified by the original VIN stamped on the frame. Same as Singers are still Porsches, even though most of the car is new and redesigned.

That's what I figured. I'd love to see a modern from-scratch reproduction FJ or CJ but there's no way you could get past all of the safety and product testing and still sell them for a reasonable price, which is unfortunate. The era of $40,000 jeeps is a sad one

ICONS have a spore-drive, silly.

Crazy thought for the OP... maybe just call Jonathan Ward? He might or might not share but seems to me to be a decent guy.

From the little Ive seen of him, kinda seems like he would require you to buy his Chevota before revealing design secrets.

The jeeps aren't more expensive , your money is worth less. They call it "quantitative easing"

Icon owners don't browse this forum but they do own the servers it is based on.

Spore-Drive

The displacement-activated spore hub drive, commonly shortened to spore drive or s-drive, was an organicpropulsion system the Federation experimented with during the 2240s and 2250s. The technology used mycelium sporesharvested from Prototaxites stellaviatori to jump or leap across the mycelial network. During such jumps, the ships were not in normal space but in the mycelial plane. (DIS: "Context Is for Kings", "Choose Your Pain")
