Well I am tired of replacing the rear sway bar, mounts, links. I am driving now without any sway bar and it is ok with the Slee 4" heavy's but I really want to put a anti rock bar back there.

I am sure I recently saw a pic of one installed on an 80. Any pics or info would be great!

It was mine. What do you want to know?

Nice! That's what I was looking for! How does it work?? Worth the time over no bar?

Do they sell different sizes? If so what kit/size did you order? I am looking to go on a week long run around new England in 2 weeks. Would be great to bang this out quick.

@nukegoat . The only thing I see is your driver side axle mount is right where the panhard bar mount is on the 80.

It packaged well and was easy to implement. It works according to spec. Admittedly my rear axle is a few inches wider than most and I dont have the panhard but you could make an axle mount in many different locations. Currie has two universal kits that are 50" wide... both are at summit. Mine uses the 1.00" bar but they have a .900" as well. For someone who is reproducing my setup and doesnt intend to run a front bar, i think the .900 would be a better choice. For everyone else, the 1.00 is the way to go IMO

Yeah so you could just sister a plate to that bracket with a 1/2" hole and match it on the passenger side. Or find a way to run the mounts to the top of the axle tubes.

I am running a front bar so I will go with 1" on your recommendation. Hopefully I can find a spot to mount on top of axle.

Does the arm off of the bar just clear the outside of the frame so it can flex up?
If so my rear tires rub the frame rail in the rear. Do you think it would clear on full stuff?

Do you have anymore pics for me for reference? Appreciate it

So the arms clear the frame but they might be getting close to your tire. My advice would be to have your arms set up with shorter links to the axle than I have - meaning they would be below the tire rubbing area at stuff. I have a marginally wider axle as mentioned so that helps, but really not any wider than people who run wheel spacers (i am not running spacers now). Where do you want pics?

Btw @jcardona1 has a similar style setup - fancier than this - on his stockish rear axle. He has spacers and wheels with less backspacing though so we are similar in width

I went with a Ruffstuff setup for my rear axle. If I could figure out how to package one of these up front, I'd run an AntiRock if I could but space is tight. Lots of pics in my thread starting on this page
