And here is the poser shot of the whole enchillada post-lift and 33" tires. Cruiser is parked in front of my museum. The second images is the view from the museum looking out (you can see the cruiser on the left behind the tree 5 cars back). This is why we moved here, you can't beat the views. We live 5 minutes away at the base of the mountain. That's a Reuben Nakian sculpture in the foreground, and Squaw Peak in the background.

The latest "upgrade" is the cb. I can't believe how hard it was to find one, I couldn't find anyone local who sold them. There are several radio and communication shops that carry Ham, but they said cb was outdated and recommended two-way radios. Radioshack didn't have any in stock either. I thought it was pretty funny, but the one "establishment" around here that carries cb's is Flying J, as in the gas station. My wife refused to get an in-dash unit and absolutely would not yield, images of Burt Reynolds and organgutans flying through her mind's eye. So we went with the handheld unit. I know it won't work as well but hopefully it will be okay out on the trail. We also got a magnetic antenna to extend the range. The connectors are different and the J didn't have any adaptors in stock. Is there any reason this combo wouldn't work? The coaxial cable has one end that will fit the antenna and a smaller one for the handheld, with a double female connector in the middle.

You gonna bring a growler from the pub to share? I'll bring one from our pub>>>raspberry wheat good?

Nice, your wagons are slick. It will be great to see so many 60 series on the trail. I finally finished grading finals tonight and am now packing. It was my own fault for having them write 14 page papers instead of taking a test,

I think this year may be the year of the 60 (6X) although there will be a lot of 80's too. I am bringing quaffables for sure.

Raz Wheat sounds great.

I'll bring growlers of whatever is unique on tap as well as some package goodies.
Got a lot of folks to cover.

Can't wait to get to camp!

Well, it's a couple of years later and I've been getting pretty excited for CM12. The cruiser has undergone a lot of changes since this thread: a 5.3 Vortec to name one! Only problem is, the advance adapter isn't here yet, argh. It's been 3 months and I'm still waiting; after many delays it was promised by today. Well, surprise, surprise, I called and it's still not ready, maybe next week. Oh well, I thought about taking the 40 down but the 62 is SO much comfier. Plus, I tore my MCL and don't think I could manage the clutch. But reading this thread and seeing the sixties gearing up is tugging at my heart strings.

I'll be at site 181 stop on by or flag me down. Hell that goes for any of you guys!

:D
