Another 77 FJ40 resto (6 Viewers)

links, including eBay, Amazon, Skimlinks, and others.

Two things:

I'd recommend placing for-sale threads in the FJ-40 classified, here, with links to the build and the BAT auction, along with threads in the classifieds of Pirate, Marlin, Yotatech and TTORA. You need those two wealthy buyers to discover it and bid-it-out...so the more exposure, the better.

Also...is BAT a no reserve format?

The auction site needs some under-hood pictures. It's not apparent there is a link to a Flickr site until one scrolls down to the comments section, and there is no under-hood picture there either. I think this is absolutely mandatory for someone to place a big bid. There are lots of trucks on auction sites with flashy paint jobs, but once you look under hood, you can immediately tell the difference in attention to detail.

Thanks Garth, I posted on Pirate and here. The other sites require a post minimum in order to start a sale thread. Anyone been on these forums (Marlin, Yotatech and TTORA) that would mind linking my sale on BaT for me? I would really appreciate it.

I'm throwing in this excellent key chain in with the sale;)

Actually it is really cool. 5 days to go!

Fingers crossed, just really hope it goes to a good home. My wife asked me if I'm sad to see it go, I am, but there will be another one to replace it that I will soon be working on.

I do still kick myself in the ass for selling my 67 Mustang fastback;)

Congrats SSCR. $48,500 and a new home. Nice job on the build, by the way.

Wow! Congrats!
Well deserved!

Congrats!! Worth every penny for this beauty!

Congrats. This thing is beautiful and lots of hard work was in this beauty.

So, what's the next project?

;)

Thanks guys! Next project, why another 40 of course but with a stretched 10" Aqualu tub and Vortec motor!
Congratulations on the sale. I hope you are happy with the final bid. A labor of love for sure.
Thanks Scrapdaddy, your build inspired me along the way!
