After all the factory details you used, I vote for bumperettes too. Front bumper is nice enough. The silver original just isn't strong enough to vote for it.

Don't forget the radiator decal!
Got it covered, supposed to be around here?

Looks like the majority says bumperettes, might just order a powder-coated set and include them in the sale.

The late 70's Land Cruiser brochure engine photos show the radiator decal in line with the radiator cap. This is the 79 image, 77 is the same location.

Rig looks better than stuff I have seen on RM, Gooding, etc..... Have you considered one of these auctioneers, I think the extra cost up front will get you MUCH more on the sale. Rig looks exceptional...............nice work!

No prob, any time bud. How is the other Aqualou 40 coming along??

I will be seeing the two 40's at RM next week in person-will post up opinions here on mud.

I got my new license plate light harness from @Coolerman and hooked it right up, had to do a little work to make sure everything was grounded and presto! Got my front turn signals all squared away just have to figure out why they wont flash...

Simply awesome.............

Beautiful! Love them lights all working! :grinpimp:
I'm still running the original OEM lights. I just keep them on high all the time. And use the PIAA yellow fogs and driving lamps if needed.
That is one beautiful 40.

Thanks guys, got some more done this weekend. I took my wing window brackets and sanded them down to bare metal and sprayed a rust inhibitor and than a couple coats of semi-gloss black. I should be able to install the windows tomorrow. I also replaced my aftermarket lug nuts with the correct yellow zinc ones even though they are now hidden behind the hub caps. At least I can remove them with my oem lug wrench that is in the tool bag;) While I was at it, I sprayed my calipers cast iron grey for a little more protection against the environment. Pics...

I also got my new dash on, and will be installing my lower dash pads. I have my painter coming tomorrow to look at a couple small chips and this should be ready for sale! More photos tomorrow.
