You are always welcome! Anytime you’d like- our doors are always open. Sorry to hear about the brake line! That does NOT sound like a good time.

A handful of new shifter seats arrived. F$&&ers.

I am turning over a new leaf. I swear. I’m labeling parts bags as they come in.

This work week has sucked. I’m hoping to get some barn time this weekend to possibly get the 61 running.

Also, I thought this was cool. OEM battery terminals. I want to make some new cables.
@davegonz, can I borrow your crimper?

I need to do this as well. For the last three years I've had to go out and wiggle my battery cables to get it to fire from time to time. I bought the military cable ends and heavy wire and crimper and lugs two years ago and have yet to fix it.

Hello,

These terminals are not just cool but very good. Ask me how I know.

Borrow the crimper for the cables and toss in fusible links...

Factory radiator from @Onur. I think this was the first part that I bought for this truck over two years ago. New radiator hoses and clamps. The 56 mm clamp goes on the water pump and the 51 mm clamp goes on the lower radiator.

Oh baby, it runs!

Success.

She purrs like a kitten, and I even figured out my errors in the vacuum routing. Even the shut down works!

Annie, now age 7, is also impressed with new hardware. She was 4 when we got this rig...and the last time she rode in it!

Today was a great day when a lot of things came together. With the help of @Unoman, I topped up all the rest of the fluids, and bolted on the rear driveshaft. She runs and drives!

Here’s the first drive under her own power in more than two years:

The rest of the first drive:

The kids and I were pretty pumped. I love how Annie skirts the exhaust when she gets out.
