All to often that which we love is taken back by the earth.... what ever! Where did the little flip off icon go???

This poor 72 FJ55 was left on a trail waaaay on the back side of a southern Vermont mountain that was once a ski area.... I thought it was worthy of a few pictures.

Hell,

That truck is in better shape than some on the roads around here....

good luck!

Oh,

By the way....

What is technical about this?

-Steve

Where do you think the other lights I e-mailed you about came from? If I could just find that box.... The screws on the remaining lenses are quite rounded out, they'll need a bit of coaxing to remove... the truck has been there for a good 15 years.

That roof looks not too bad for those who might need a solid roof. The caved in top can be straightened but there appears to be a lack of rust perforation around the rain gutter area.

If you want, I can come up and we can take it apart one weekend. Im in MA, and could use a few parts from the old girl.

...axles and springs are still there, they have been sitting in the mud/dirt for some time, so unknown. If you want parts, no problem, drop me a pm or email syncroboy@hotmail.com. It's very close to the end of and old dirt road, or you can take the trail/scenic way up over the ski area....

Someone needs to rescue that poor old thing. Where in So. Vermont is it, I don't need any parts, I'll be back in Vt for a few days next week and would just like to have a look.

Dutch Hill on Route 100.... Gees, maybe I should put togther an easy wheeling trip so all interested could see it? ::): It is really not worth much more than parts.... all glass smashed out, frame is punky, full of bullet holes.

I'm officially an Addict, how cool is that! Thanks for the directions, I'm going to try to get up there tuesday or wednesday mid day. I'd be up for some light Fourwheeling next week (I only have the Tacoma to wheel with at present), I'll only be back east Monday through Saturday morning though.
