(Semi-Hijack alert) Did some scouting on the Cheat River this afternoon. Things are looking pretty promising...Pick a Sunday (arrival Sat night) and come on down!! We'll test your cooler and roll cast. Headed to Lake Erie on the 17th of JUL to do some Walleye fishing...

Cut some parts out, got prepped to weld new patch in on one side tonight.

I purchased new supports from CCOT and they were real close to the originals. I primered and sealed them separately and then welded them in. I sealed all around them with seam sealer and even sealed up the half round openings at either end to try and keep them dry inside.

I could have made my own but to make them nice seemed like too much work so I just bought them. I was going for stock look too.

Other than one hole that I blew out through some sketchy sheet metal, I feel I did alright.

@Awl_TEQ I like the idea of sealing the supports up, I am going to see how I can do that once I get to welding those back in. I will probably go with new ones as well, ever since I'm going to be dropping the coin I shoud do it right.

Got a little work done this weekend, after being KO like Rousey a couple weeks ago with the flu, I have finally gotten back to normal. I have done some cutting, grinding, and welding, got the rear sill welded in place. Bolted the tub back to the frame while I start on the rest of the body work. Dropped some coin on some gear lube for the tranny and t-case, still need to get the front and rear diff filled back up.

Starting on the second patch on the fenderwell, plus the vertical rib below it. It is killing me to work with some kind of method to the madness. May as well finish up one side before I move on to other areas.

I noticed when I cut the vertical section out this evening that the metal around it opened up around an eighth of an inch or so, I put the body on the mounts and frame a couple nights ago. I did that specifically to avoid the body flexing like that when I cut.

Danny, I think I will figure something out, I had to take the body mount for the main beam out so I did not melt them. Hopefully I can load some weight in that area to bring the gap back together, maybe use the bolts to pull the bed back down to close the gap,,,,,..........

I'm sure I'll make it work somehow!
