I'm not entirely sure what happened yet but I just got a call from a mutual friend. There was some sort of car accident somewhere near albemarle and he was killed. I'm not quite sure how to put this in words on here as I am still in shock but I needed to get this out there. I know many on this board knew him either in person or over mud. Mud members are a close nit family so I needed to let people know this.

I wanted to make sure everyone on UC knew that as most of us did know him.

He was the one reason I really got into land cruisers in the first place as he was the only person who would explain stupid newb questions that I had to me when I first thought of buying mine.

You will always be missed buddy

You will always be the man

We just saw each other last week and were supposed to hang on Saturday.

I'll let everyone on here know as I find out more, i'm really in shock right now as I had dinner with him just 5 days ago.

How i'll always remember him

Wow, I am so sorry to hear. I was just looking at a pic of him in Trails yesterday and I have corresponded with him on Mud, but never got to actually meet up with him in person. I will keep his family and all of his friends in my prayers. It truly hurts when someone is taken so young.

Jeremy could you tell me what issue that was. I'd like to find a copy to give to his Dad.

It was the issue in 06' or 07' that had you NC guys going to the Whee with UC. It had a group shot of everyone on the ground with him in it.

I will check when I get to work in the morning for the exact issue #. If you don't have it, I would be glad to donate mine.

That is terrible news. I was on a few of those Whee trips and always really liked Logan.

My thoughts and prayers to his family and friends.

I don't think I do, if you could that would be great.

Wow. I knew him well. Was on a few trips with him. What a loss to the community. I'm very sorry to hear. Please let me know if there is anything UC or I can do. We will have to do something in his honor at GSMTR.

Wow I am at a loss for words..... Wheeled with Logan quite a few times through the years he was a stand up guy and 21 is way to young. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.

That was my first UC trip - October '06 and the issue came out in Jan '07 IIRC. I remember Logan from that trip and a few other Whee trips - he was always a fun person to hang out around the campfire with.

He will be missed.

Marshall I will get with you on this, I have somethign similar planned for the cruising carolina event.

I remember meeting Logan at whee at Marshall's cabin....he was so gung-ho on cruisers and he was getting ready to go to VT.....If I remember correctly he either just git the 80, or he was getting ready to do some mods on it.....great kid and great to wheel with....at least now when he's wheeling upstairs he won't have to worry about running out of gas or gettin stuck in a mud hole....keep wheeling my friend and we will think of you often.

WOW that stinks, super nice kid. Had fun wheeling with him. I liked the way he always thought out of the box..like his hood mod for dropping temperatures.

Rest in peace, thoughts and prayers

We were just starting to plan on the rebirth of his cruiser for the Cruising Carolina event. We talked about it at dinne last week and were going to at my place on saturday.

At some point i'm going to talk to his Dad and see if I can get it running again to make an apperance anyway at the event in September. Even if I have to push it the 16.1 miles to the outpost i'll do it that way.

Logan's Funeral

Logan's sister just called for me while I was out to lunch.

The visitation/viewing is Friday nigth 6-8 and the actual funeral is on Saturday at 11am, incase anyone wanted to go.

i'll get directions for everyone. It will be in Albemarle so be thinking a drive to Uwharrie is along the same lines. He only lived about 10 miles from the outpost.

I think we are going to try and get some club funds and donations together for a flower arrangement and i'll cover the rest.

Anybody that wants to chip in for flowers can send it to my paypal account

bigalj25@sbcglobal.net

Just make sure you put your name and screen name in it so I know who it is from

Thanks everyone
