Anyone off-hand know the specs for the screws/bolts that hold the twist handle cap on the Aisin hubs? I know SOR sells them for $.89 (plus what is probably cost-prohibitive s&h) but there has got to be a better source...
Thanks

You mean this?

edit...you probably mean what size/pitch, right?

Yes, the SIZE specs not the tightening specs... sorry for being vague.
I thought that was clear by my reference to buying them rather than installing them... I guess not.

PS Love your avatar... frightened by it too... ;-)

I have the part number for the bolt

Original Part number: 90119-06024
New Part number: 91641-80616

The bolt part number decoder from the back of the FSM isn't much help.

What's the name of the Japanese-spec bolt head sizes found on our rigs? IIRC, they aren't proportioned the same as usual metrics (ratio of bolt head size to thread dia.)

Uh, 6mm thread diameter, 16mm long. I run stainless M6x1.0-16 allen head cap screws. If they get chewed up you can still get them off.
