This looks like it might be a 24V Aisin version of the coveted Warn 8274? Do you know what this came off of or if it is the same gearing type (I think worm gear vs planetary) that the 8274 has?

The 8274 has straight gears.

Sorry no idea about this.

Aisin AS-1000; it's a spur gear setup like the 8274, but the brake is inside the gear housing and everything runs in ATF instead of regular oil.
