Hi all,

I've done a bit of searching but haven't been able to answer my question. On the way home from work today my front end dropped. I didn't notice until I got home but it is currently all the way down. Rear is at normal height. System is completely unresponsive and if I try to go into High or Low, the light just flashes.

Hooked up techstream and got no codes for AHC. I read the data and this is what it gave me (below). It looks like the FL sensor is reading negative while the FR sensor is reading positive. Would this indicate a failed sensor or something worse? I don't hear the system trying to pump air at all when I press high or low.

Thanks!

Check your front height sensor arms. I lost a nut off the front drivers side which let the front arm drop straight down. The whole front end then went all the way to the bottom just like yours. Hopefully that's your issue. If not, your sensor values are drastically different. I would contact @cruiseroutfit Cruiser Outfitters and see if they have some more spare parts laying around.

Checked those, all the arms are still connected.

is the ride really bouncy? If so your accumulators are dead, happened to my sister's LX.

We have a few bins full :D

Ride isn't bouncy at all which is weird and leading me to think it's just a bad sensor. Rides just fine.

@cruiseroutfit i just ordered two sensors but if they don't fix the issue I'll be in touch!

It seems we have a bit of a phantom problem. Truck has sat since the issue happened Friday. Two new front height sensors came in today so I went to start it up to bring it into the garage to replace them and front went back to normal height. After the AHC system being completely unresponsive to the High-N-Low controller a few days prior it is fully functional now. Truck goes into all heigh modes perfectly fine....

All of the heigh sensor values are back to normal as well. Any ideas for the glitch?

Did you set to low, get out, close the door, wait 30 seconds then go back in, set to N, get out, close the door for 30 seconds, then check the pressure?

Nope didn't check pressure yet. I may do that tonight if I have time.

I still think its going to be your height sensors. Looking at the values, it reads nearly 5" difference between them in the original post, then .2" difference in the past one. Could end up being an intermittent problem, but given that both sensors should be pretty close to the same value in whatever range, that really stands out. Atleast you have the parts now if it comes back.

Definitely, I am expecting the problem to reoccur. Was hoping to have it happen again and try to pull codes again to see if anything shows up but if it doesn't happen by this weekend, I'm just going to replace both fronts. Planning on taking pressures this evening depending on whether this massive thunder/hail storm passes by then.

What did those sensors cost?
