Hey there.. Call out to YotaMD Videos on AHC.. Here are my tips.
1.Measuring Pressures : I got this device.

2024 LAUNCH Creader Elite OBD2 Scanner for Toyota Lexus, Full System Bi-Directional Diagnostic Scan Tool, All Reset Service Code Reader, Battery Registration,ECU Coding, AUTO VIN,Lifetime Fr-ee Update

It is ~$ 100.. and has real time live data. Here is what the screen looks like . I took these pictures while adjusting.. I ended up at 6.4 front and 6.3 rear. .. I did not unplug the Temp sensor .. as when I unplugged the temp sensor the AHC would not change height. Go to Datastream.. and select the suspension computer.. you can select from ~50 parameters to read.. I picked the pressures and ride height.

2. What to expect.. For my pressures.. to be where they ended.. I have spacers in the rear and about 4 turns on the torsion bars up front. Back in 2021 I put spacers and did one turn on each portion bar blindly... as I did not know how to make the lifestream data/ read the pressures. I had also bled / and replaced spheres in around 2014. years ago. when I bled the system.

3. Bleeding : Make sure to pump out all of the fluid out the top first.. then fill the tank with AHC fluid almost to the top.. The danger is letting the tank run dry... following YotaMD method . This was the first time I truly fully flushed the system.

Result of Dialed in pressures and new fluid is that car is less "floaty" up front.

Anyway .. I hope this tip and computer recommendation helps someone.. (The tech stream with 15 year old PC with slow refresh is not for everyone. .. that is covered in all the old threads.).. In 2024 we have a new option.

and why wouldn't you use Techstream?

Oh, I see. Too slow.

A nice alternative to TechStream

Are you aware of any limitations of this device compared to TechStream? I was considering buying a TechStream adapter so I could do the same thing with my AHC, as well as replace my ATF correctly by reading the temperature to make sure I use the correct amount of fluid.

If this device can accomplish everything TechStream is used for but without the hassle of setting up the software, I might have to scoop one up.

I can't speak for anyone else, but while I've been able to get Tech Stream to work on a VM, I constantly have issues with getting it to update values at all (seems to only want to show the max value seen, which is a problem if I drop from H to N and it still only displays the value read on H), and I've been getting crashing issues if I try to access certain features. It may be that I have an error or malfunction in the vehicle or OBD port, but I can't find any errors recorded. I'd be very tempted to try a different tool just to see if the issue is in my truck or somewhere along the interface-computer-VM path.

Hi .. I only used it for ahc but I fiddled with live data and it is very smooth and easy to use . I won’t fiddle with old windows machines

Subbed. Looks like a good alternative to TS.
Any idea about the ABS bleed brake function?
TIA

Anyone have any updates on this computer? It's on sale today and I'm thinking of getting one. In particular, has anyone used it to try to turn on/off the features Toyota allows that to be done with (e.g. tilt/telescope, etc.)? Thanks in advance!

I bought one and used it to work on my ahc. I was able to change the door lock setting and see that it has the option to bleed the abs, so it’s a pretty nice investment. I did not want to get techstream and all that to be honest.

Neither do I. Seems like a complete tech hassle, and there's nothing I like less. Appreciate the update! I think I'll pick one up!

I have 2 questions if anyone can answer them.

1. Can this program TPMS? My old tech stream can program my parents 2007 Camry TPMS but not my wife's 2014 ES350.

2. Does this work with a alternator voltage booster? Since putting one in my LX tech stream has been finicky but works fine on other cars. I know I can remove it and put the stock one back in but where's the fun in that?

If it can these 2 things it'll be a good excuse to buy this, haha.

I’m pretty sure I saw the tire sensor menu but didn’t click into it. It was fairly comprehensive. Sorry I’m not at home right now to confirm

I got the Creader Launch Elite T for Toyota/Lexus on Amazon. Definitely worth the money. It took a bit of experimentation to read the pressures. You need to put the AHC in L, then raise it N to update pressures. I was able to properly adjust the torsion bars, bringing the front AHC pressures down from 9.4 MPa fr/8.4 rear to 7.0/7.0 fr/rr MPa (w/o disconnecting AHC temp sensor) and leveling the left/right tilt in the front. This is the first time the t-bars had been adjusted since leaving the factory in 2002! Rear pressures reduced by itself once I reduced the front pressures.

Thanks for posting this!
Each time I buy a VCI Techstream cable at $37 a pop, they work at first then fail to see the ecu after a few uses. :meh:

The re-booting and changing usb ports to get the cable to recognize anything is beyond frustrating.

Nice I'm snagging one now!

I'm in software for a living but the thought of running techstream in a windows VM on my old macbook makes me want to run for the hills. I'll take the risk on this Android 5.0 device hah. I wish we had something like the VAG guys have w/ OBDeleven. I've done a bunch of parameter customization on my Allroad.

I have one of these I purchased for my wifes sequoia to adjust the alcohol % content in thee ECU. It's a flex fuel model and they have a huge problem with extended starting when the %'s get out of whack. Toyota has a service bulletin about this but want thousands to fix it. With this thing you can reset the percentage yourself and you're good to go. I've never hooked it up to my lx. Curious to see what it can do.

Anyone know if Launch reader can turn off the auto level control from High to Normal when traveling speeds above 20 mphs? Honestly not sure if the 100 does this, I know my lx570 does this when on High mode and I go in excess of 20 mph..
