Thanks to Whitey45 for the diagonal vent. Painted the backside black, cleared over the outside. It seemed like a good match. Installed. Missing 4 screws though. Couldn't find a match at the loacl Ace. Anybody know what size they are?

You are correct, they were metric, but different pitch than standard. Can't recall now what they were. Is it on Coolerman's bolt chart?

M5-0.9x14 OHMS.

I had to retap one side of my rig and I put in standard thread bolts.

Got the locking hubs installed. I was missing one of the gears that lock the hub body to the inner gear. No luck on CL. Went to the junkyard. No Toys except newer ones with drive flanges. Found an Aisin hub on an Isuzu Rodeo. Dial, springs and gear are the same as Toy. Only $16
Had some brakelines made at the Parker Store. Started installing those. Gets alittle closer everyday.

Except now it's turned into..... get it done before KOH. I am racing again this year. Need to start buggy upgrades and prep a few months before February. If the wagon it's drivable by then, it gets pushed into the backyard and will sit till after the race.:frown:

Plus I would love to bring it out to the Hammers. Use it for a pit vehicle and just general cruising the lakebed. :steer:

For the first time in who knows how long??? The LV moved under it's own power. I have no brakes or gas pedal or linkage but put it in 4 low and moved it out back for the weekend.
Went racing my buggy instead of wrenching. I race short course in the Arizona Lucas Oil Regional series. Currently the points leader in my class. Won my class and came in 4th overall in a field of 16 and I started very last. Good times.
Got the rest of my flex lines made for the brakes. Going to try and get the whole brake system done this week.
Here's a random wagon yard shot.:grinpimp:

Very impressive, both the race and the moving of LV.

Got the steering all rebuilt. New tie rod ends, rebuilt the steering center arm, and even a new steering stabilizer. Forgot to upload the pix, so I'll post those later. Rear driveshaft should be done today as well. Got my used header and dispite the ad saying there were no cracks.....it has some cracks. Need to get those tigged up.

Got most of the steering done. Need to clean/inspect/regrease one end of the relay rod. Also need to see if I can tighten up the steering box. It has alot of slop. Anyways, here's a couple shots of the rebuilt steering.
