It’s rebuilt, different body. So it’s not deserved clean title anymore.

Congrats on making a deal. The dealer seems to have really stepped up to make it right. I agree with your mechanic, the builder had an attention to detail. From the pics it appears he did a good job with what he had.

1) Stop calling it an FJ!

B) I think some people may think of owning a classic car as an investment but with these vehicles it's unlikely to be a profitable one in the sense of income.

III) If you like the 40, want to keep it and understand you are probably not going to make money off it then ask the dealer for 5K to 7K back if they can't get the title cleared.
FJ, FJ, FJ....LOL. FJ, 40, Cruiser, truck, rig...call it what you want..such a weird thing to get upset about. When did that start, after the fj cruiser came out?

The answer is yes. I have / had both vehicles.

Interesting. I called it an FJ before the FJ Cruiser...and I like the Fj Cruiser, even if it's not really a cruiser...Pretty sure we can still use 'FJ' to refer to our rigs..The people that cry about calling an FJ40 an FJ, sound like jeep owners.. I also like old jeeps..lol.
