Maybe some markets lingered for a while with different configurations.
Maybe I should just build two vehicles one with each front end!
I believe the last production 73/74 was 12/2006.... and it had a narrow nose. The face lift started production in 1/2007.Middle East market got a J70 wide nose
As I play with more and more cruisers from other parts of the world I am finding out Toyota did some strange things depending on where the cruiser was destined. Grab a part off the self that you know would fit an Aussie truck and it won't work on an African truck. And sometimes larger organizations will place a special order for a unique feature....like an older school dash in a 2016 truck. But the same group that wants the older school dash is probably ordering the truck with a 1HZ...all comes down to simplicity.
I am torn between the two front ends as I really like round headlights. But there is something unique about the wide nose. Maybe I should just build two vehicles one with each front end!
