I have a Rheem furnace, model is RGDD-06NC-ER.
It works fine on both heat and A/C, but it does one thing that's pretty odd.
This started a few years ago, during hot weather only, but now it's started doing it in cold weather also.
The unit is off, shut down, and all of a sudden, the blower motor comes on for a few minutes, then shuts down again. No input from me, the controls are "off", and this happens.
Obviously, one of the sensors is bad, but I don't know which one. I have no repair manual for this furnace. there is a schematic diagram inside which I can use to locate components.
If there's an HVAC guy on here who can assist me in locating the suspect component, and method of testing it, that would be most helpful
I own some diagnostic tools, like a DMM.
