Glad she is ok man,

Sucks for the rig but honestly the ruggedness that is the LC is probably due credit for her survival and not being laid up in the hospital.

Mine looks a lot worse.....replacing my front fender this week and slowly having paintless dent repair do the rest. I only have 158K on mine. PO did a gentle roll similar to yours. And yeah yours is totaled as stated.

Buy it back for sure. Repair as you go and you'll have two! And let her drive the one she rolled :princess::cautious:

I disagree... look closely, every panel needs work. EVERY PANEL. she did a number on that LC.

I rolled a 99 2 door tahoe that was smoke gray and beautiful like new. Jake from state farm made total loss offer of like $6200 and i told them i had been offered $3k more than that so they did a "market survey" which is their way of trying to substantiate the offer. Well that report came back lower and i told them i wouldnt sign off on the claim for anything under $7k. They waited a few weeks and eventually settled the claim for $7k.

They initially told me they couldnt raise the offer but now i know they can. Anyways, good luck.

Basically, they couldnt get a market survey on my rode cause that color was so rare.

Yes I dont doubt this is the case.

Thanks guys. Figuring out the market value will be key.

dang that sucks, glad to hear everyone ok. surprisingly less damage than I'd have thought.
time for a new 100 and a keep the old one for a trail rig - chop the top and cage it with a soft top. Look up "Tencha" it's a 60 series I've been drooling over, would love to do it to a 100 or an 80.

Just got word its totaled. :( Now trying to decide if buy back is an option. It was turned off right away. When rolled back onto wheels after about 15 minutes it was restarted and smoked like crazy but then cleared up. Was driven back to my house about 10 miles. All fluids looked good except oil was 2 quarts low. LC was driven another 10+ miles before check engine light came on and car started running badly. I wasnt driving it at that point GF was. So I dont know what that even means.... We then had it flatbedded to body shop about 60 miles away. They cant pull codes because its older then their machine. Im not super mechanical and use wheelchair so im going to get a mechanic to take a look at it. What do you guys think? Any particular areas?

Thanks again!

I don't understand how they couldn't pull codes. That smells like BS to me.

I found out that my insurance only covered up to 1000 dollars in aftermarket accessories. If you want to make sure your covered for what you have, you need to pay additional $ for that insurance. Also, with an old rig like my 99 you have to make sure you have the right coverage, doesn't take much damage for a total loss by the insurance companies, small draw back on these older rigs.

Update: State Farm valued my cruiser at $9069 If I do not buy back I can negotiate upwards on aftermarket parts. I bought it back for $2162. Picked it up yesterday and drove it close to 100 miles. Missing badly. Oil pressure in the middle while running and 1/4 while idling. Its at my Toyota mechanic buddys waiting for love.

When it rolled the cylinders would have collected some oil, hence the heavy smoke when it was started. I wouldn't be surprised if new spark plugs and 02 sensors fixed the rough running.

That'd be my guess too. Oil had to go somewhere...likely burned off and left a ton of deposits if you didn't pull the plugs and crank out the oil in the cylinders before starting it back up.

We didnt, It was flipped over on wheels about 15 min getting pulled out of ditch. Then just started. Smoked like crazy. Oil filter was 1/2 full of oil.
