It takes some work, but it’s worth it. Gonna need more cutting at the 12 o’clock position in front. Rear of the well looks like it’s got enough clearance to me.

Shock travel:
Front 3.5” up / 8.25” down - 1”up unused
Rear 3.0” up / 8.75” down - unsure if it uses all the down in rear since the front flexes way easier than the rear due to Hyperflex arms and whiteline rear sway & LCP sway links.

It rides way better like this at high speeds than it did with 6” Slee springs and 40s.

Luv the early Bronco body style.
Luv them flares on early Bronco also...

IMHO the front suspension arm of 80 is a copy of the early Bronco that Came out in 1966.
As a young man I owned two of them. Wish I never sold either of them. 😡
PS the flares are after market.

How are you liking the bfg kr3? I’m seriously considering picking up a set when I’m in california? Are they the standard kr3 or the stick version? Are they a super hard compound, super soft compound? It’s hard to find anybody who has first hand experience with them.
Sorry for the lag!! Super soft and they are all over the road lol

But can’t beat them for the price and my fj will primarily be a trail rig
