I am in the process of tucking the exhaust up a little and am planning using a single cat. Has anyone tried putting both sensors into one pipe (opposite sides maybe) or can one be elliminated? The exhaust shop was planning on reinstalling them both into the one pipe. Is it going to throw codes.
Thanks, Micah

Both should remain pre-cat and they are intended to measure two seprate cylinder banks. Why not make a y-pipe that connects to the head pipes and then run it into the cat?

Thanks for the response Dan, and thats what I was (the shop really) planning on doing. The sensors were going to be pre-cat, but are you recommending putting them on the Y-pipe before it joins together?

I suggest one sensor reads the front 3 cylinders and the other reads the rear 3 cylinders. After that map it out however you want it to go.

alright, I think we are on the same page and I will post some pics after its done.
thanks again.

Another Q? Can I source out the bungs for them somewhere or should they just re-use (re-weld) the existing ones into it?
