I’m going to be documenting my repairs and build of our 94. At this point I have a ton of pictures and notes in my phone and written down that I will consolidate here to keep track of everything.
This Land Cruiser will be used to take our family out on the trails and camping mostly and some daily driving duties because who doesn’t like driving their cruiser.
Here’s a picture to get things started

First few things that were done was shakey mirrors and rear pads calipers and rotors

Next on the list was the radiator and the support needed a little work. All new stainless hardware and hella horns.

Since it already had a lift on it the caster needed to be addressed. I went with slee caster plates also order new shocks all the way around.

After the suspension was freshened up it was time for new shoes. Black d window steelies and 305 geolanders set of 5 and all new lug nuts.

Looks good so far. How were the studs themselves? You've got a good bit of corrosion down there; I'd hate to see one (or more) go flying off on the highway.

Thanks the studs are good. The rust on the brakes actually looks worse in the picture, it’s from sitting for a while living close to the ocean. The frame and everything else is pretty solid. One of the first things I did was clean up the chassis and coat with surface shield but I didn’t take pictures.

Had a rotted out cross member and thought the reverse lights good use some help

Great work. Might want to look into replacing the rotors sometime soon.

Oh and great choice of tires. I have the Yokohama MTs as well and love them. Very quiet for a MT.

Should have done the rotors when I did the birfs but I slapped pad when I did the the rears. Definitely going for the upgrade when I need to do fronts again.
