Wanted 93 - 97 Version Fridge Console Lid

Currently have the 91 version lid without the upper storage...

On the lookout for the one that looks like this:

Any leads on how to get one would be awesome.

Or 2 since @danakittilsen is also looking for one.
 
I had got one brand new and also @IanB from Akella (Yan)
 
I didn't actually realize it was a year specific thing, but that would explain why I had to buy one for my '91, and my '93 already has it!

X2 on @Akella, he hooked us up with brand new ones. You have to buy both the upper and lower pieces. Also you will need 2 93560-54012 screws that did not come with the console lids. I've never seen these specific lids on anything but a cooler/ice box center console, so if anyone is wanting to put them on anything but, a test fit would be great.

I did run into some issues trying to install @bhicks' rear double cupholder (which I love!), but a simple cut seems to have fixed the issue, the opening on the cooler console is about an inch further forward than the non-cooler ones, so the lip on the hook didn't drop into the opening as intended.

I don't know if the brackets are the same or not. Just saying, they are different in some ways, and it would be very disappointing if it didn't fit, lol.

How much did you guys get your for from Akella? I think he's been busy these days as I haven't gotten responses very quickly. Otherwise he would be my go to.

@IanB thanks for the advice on the screws, wouldn't have caught that. Looked at ToyoDIY again, and yes you're definitely right.

The cooler box version lid is COMPLETELY different from the NA version of the centre console box. So if it didn't come from a fridge, it won't work. That being said, I can get the lower half for $30 so I would say my budget for this would be around $150. This is assuming the upper half is expensive from mud suppliers, and I want to get it new to match my nice interior. :)
 
You'll have to contact Akella for a quote, this was a few years ago already so I can't recall the cost.

That looks extraordinarily inflated. Perhaps from some sources it could cost that much.

I am looking at ToyoDIY and curious what the difference is between the two versions I see popping up:

58804-60010-B0 BLUISH GRAY, TRIM1*
88502-60020-B0 BLUISH GRAY, TRIM1* (11/1996 - 12/1997)

Price difference is enormous. I am going to guess that 96 through 97 is leather?

Right now I'm thinking that the total parts for this lid are:

88502-60010-B0 (lower lid)
58804-60010-B0 (upper lid)
93560-54012 x 2 (screws)

Not inflated at all. That's just how much they cost. They cost more than that from some sources.

I'm sure I didn't pay nearly that much sourcing from Akella, FWIW. I'd call those prices inflated.
 
Im am sure too that I did not pay that much for that, if it was that price I would have passed!!!

x2 on Akella being away, from his IG account he is in a pace nice and sunny! :)

Akella got back to me with a quote. I feel a little guilty since he should be out enjoying the sun and not having to deal with my emails. lol

You guys are right, his prices for those 3 parts were lower.

Just looking for the lid as I already have the fridge console... but I'll trade lids if it has the double storage! :)
 
Mayfield toyota has the upper lid on their website... just bought it. We will see if it actually ships or if the listing is erroneous.
