It's been a while! So, for once, i got lucky.... and I mean LUCKY! Found an original toyota evaporator unit, control unit, condenser, some hard ac lines, denso compressor and a spare 24v compressor AND bracket.... not to mention the correct tube for the heater air feed!

AMAZING! So, now i need to figure out of I convert all the 12v stuff to 24v or create a 12v power source for the AC.... to be continued... gonna keep the LC in the garage instead of storage to work on if this winter.

Interesting control box add-on; I wouldn’t mind seeing pictures of the pig tail & harness. I haven’t seen an idle up knob before.

Also, did this come out of a left-hand drive BJ42? The air duct that sits behind the blower looks like it came from a right-hand drive 40-series.

Thanks... I have the FSM for the factory air conditioning; I'll scan it & post a link to it. Since I'm converting a NOS 12 volt setup to be used on my BJ42 I'm very interested in your progress.

A bit late to the party, But any chance I can find this FSM for the factory AC somewhere? I have a JDM BJ44 with the same setup and was hoping one day to get it back to life.. :)
