For clarification, at the time I sent the care package, I didn't know Dustin was an Okie, too.

I read "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance" as a teen, but it never sunk in until the FJC "build", when everything became a philosophical equation, similar to Pirsig's.

"To live only for a future goal is shallow. It's the sides of the mountain that sustain life, not the top. Here's where things grow." -Pirsig.

A favorite from the author, though no closer to realizing the inherent value to the statement today than I was as a kid.

Thanks for the quick "Bead Lock" reality check…. While I really like the look of the OEM wheel with a nice ring, ongoing issues with balancing and servicability are not at the top of my wish list !!

Part of the reason I'd considered was to get a 3.5" BS condition, without the use of a spacer.

Like having the tires stick out further as a buffer in the rocks, looks better, and a minuscule amount more stable, but in all honesty, the 345s on OE wheels tuck nicely and, short of aesthetics (which still bother, but function over form), not worth cutting fenders for an additional 2" of width.

In retrospect, now knowing I'd maintain the OEs and the 345 KM2s, I'd have gone with 3" flexy's, SE Arms to coincide, and cut anything that got in the way of tire travel out.

That is a good upgrade, lucky you!

Hard to come by and pricey, but beats a local hack job, in the long run.

One of the threads it was stated that Robbie had suggested to another guy upgrading, to replace the drier.

Anyone know why?

There are two different driers depending on years, the earlier ones are shorter in overall length if I remember properly and thus hang less under the front of the truck. I have done the 91-92 relocation on my 96 and Coolstream modified my lines, they fit perfectly.

So if the drier (I have now) fits (in front of the battery), wear it, then?

I believe it will and seller stated similar, but don't know if proactive to replace, now. Considering the +110 temps we occasionally see here, AC is critical.

I would just get a new Denso for the 91-92 model year trucks (if that is not what you have), that is the shorter one, and the one designed to fit in front of the battery. I think I paid around $20 for mine brand new, it was not expensive at all.

All the pre 95 model year part numbers are superseded by one ending in 50010, and 95-97 ending in 50020.

There's a notation that all are now 134, but none given for physical size, yet by deduction, the longer wont work on the earlier years, anyway.....we (Carrie at Jim Norton Parts and I) think.

She's bringing in one to check.

Also, have every bolt, nut, washer for an FJC suspension for sale, since too late to return. I may have done my last "free" FJC lift, and don't have space to stock.

Wolrd Pac is showing a Denso product number of 478-0107 and a part number of 88471-16050. This is the one in my truck, although it's sticker says 047810-9010, the picture in World Pac matches the one I have. Hope this helps.

Test fitting the spare carrier.

Not sure what the debate surrounding all this was founded in, except general fear of the overly litigious society in which we try to conduct business, because I'd hook up to the thing as a recovery point (nope, not really, don't do it, was example only).

Going to drill out the plate and use for stud and lug storage inevitably.

Looks good.

Thanks again, Jerry.

Nice to have products that don't come in a branded box, but from individuals with skills.

Edited.

Adding link for carrier.

I'm in the midst of an "Update" to the thread which will utilize the newfound embedding skills to the nth degree. Haha.

Worked well, Jerry. Thanks again.

Now to figure a way mount the big arse 20lb tank.

Another note.

Just unloaded the sliders and bumper. Hope to figure out how to modify the bumper to more suit my pink panty taste this weekend.

Will shortly. Trying to decide is filling in with mesh of some sort, or 12Ga. Have no need for lights, may not even do winch, and want to keep the weight to a minimum.

Hoping to have a local that aikirilo knows build a tube rear, in similar fashion. Seems skilled with tube.

Going to see if he can copy the MT front bumper, sell for half the listed price. It doesn't have a patent sticker on it, like the sliders do.

Bahahaha. (Just for you, pink panty hater. You know who you are.)

Been a freight acquisition morning, traversing Tulsa picking up here, dropping, then another run, all amidst normal work responsibilities.

Picked up a local FJC buddy's ToyOutfitter's, aka Hardline Fabrication Services rear bumper crate, too, and the crate is coffin worthy. Stan has packing down, to say the least.

Fitted.

Have to chop off the dryer guard and, what I assume are light tabs, then fill in with something.

Opinions? I'm I being aikirilo-ish (anal)?

Was pretty intent on remaining winch less until a recent read. Will probably attempt to run Ramsey, since a Tulsa manufacturer, if not a TJM like Lou's.

Looks good. Did you say something about filling in the gaps with plate? I think that would look awesome.
