As for creature comforts, have to say the seat rail extenders trump all else. What goods a nice leather seat, of it's uncomfortable to sit in?

Reminds me I need to do something about an emergency brake extension.

What is a concern is the cracking plastic on the stainless lines, primarily because they've only seen about 500 miles.










Both rear caliper lines rubbed in the OE position, so I modified the method temporarily. Started to fray the stainless braiding.

The front frame to axle line I can't really explain.

It's cracked and no good reason I can see, unless the exhaust radiates that much.

None of the stainless lines on the FJC show any signs of deterioration after 50k, so thinking this is an isolated incident.

Have ran these for 100x the miles and not a single crack.

In an effort to minimize downtime and simplify the next portion of this, considering buying e locked thirds to gear, so it could be a direct swap in the driveway.

May consider doing the same for the TC gears/rebuild, too.

Surely I could recoup the expense of buying used thirds/TC by selling what I've got after, right?

Dropped drive shafts off for lengthening, ujoints, and rebalancing.



Front needs 1.8", rear 1.25".

Went on a bulb shopping spree, uneducated, and wound up with hyper speed blinkers. Bought the resistors to avoid, but they're a little larger than they appeared in pic.






Back to OEs and off to WTS.

After nearly two years of owning the 460, that's the first time I paid enough attention to the key to realize that a plastic tag was attached, or what it was for. Hahaha. Ignorance is bliss.

In an effort to temporarily put lipstick on the pig, attempting to make the front bumper work, and trying to mold the corners into submission is a PITA.

Have tried to buy the DS corner to replace the one the 345s ripped off in traffic that was run over, to no avail, so cut, filled, and molded with a butane torch.





Looks better in the pic, which isn't saying much, but looking for a plastic filler before rattle canning flat black. Any ideas? Bondo?

I've not seen an offering yet that I get warm and fuzzy over so planning to fab, but have lofty goals and little skills.
