Finally got a cruiser, have wanted one for some time now. Just had it base lined at ACC toyota. They did a great job, all new hoses under hood with new metal radiator. All new rear e brakes, leak here and there, 2" iron man lift kit. AC repair, I just put kno knoise 100 mil sound deadening in the hole truck. Down to needing armor, thinking short bus, white knuckle sliders and can't decide on rear, maybe slee, or 4x4 labs. Can't wait to go get dirty!!!!! What else can I say, love it!!!!

After almost a year and a half, I guess it's finally time to register my rig. Purchased in November 2011 from a mudder in Louisiana and had 142K at that time. It was purchased new in LA and from the looks of the undercarriage, it hasn't spent any time near salt. Factory locked rig.

1. 1997 FZJ80

2. Jay

3. Still haven't decided, Bertha seems fitting.

4. 150,145 miles

5. Center diff lock switch, OME 850/860 lift, IPOR skid plate, , caster correction bushings, Metal Tech sliders, Slee headlight/aux. harnesses, ARB front bumper, Warn M8000, PIAA lights,

6. Hunting, trails, driving around town when the weather is nice or not so nice in the snow/ice

I have done a lot of PM and baselining on the truck and think I am almost done. I have done the PHH, FHH, radiator hoses, vacuum lines (other than under the intake), charcoal canister, brake master cylinder, alternator, starter was replaced right before I bought it, front axle job, drained and replaced all fluids, thermostat/associated o-rings in that area, and 7 new stainless braided brake lines.

Future mods will include a rear bumper. I will probably move the m8000 to the back and put a m12000 up front. Tuff Duck seat covers. I am planning on building a rear drawer system in the very near future. I may add some front coil spacers. When I have to pull the upper intake manifold, all the emission crap is out. I still need to do the pin 7 mod.

It has been a lot of fun and hard work. I hope she serves me for many years to come.

Neewbie Here.

1992 Toyota fj80 is my rig. I have a Cummins 4bt that I rebuilt from bottom to top (it is bored over). OME 3.5" lift with caster correction and steering stabilizer. Stock a440 tranny with adapter plate, flywheel and flexplate from Joel at Jonesy's. That's just for starters. I am presently working on this conversion and getting close to completion as far as engine installation. Will try to keep updated as I try to turn this thing into a beast. haha:hillbilly:
