New member, new truck

Just got my first FJZ80 after a short search. It's not perfect, but there were not many in my area from which to choose. Price was reasonable, color was right.

I'll post pictures once I figure out how to do it.

1996, white, no factory locks, 175K. Some superficial rust around lower edge of rear hatch glass that I'll get fixed. Had a similar issue around windshield that was repaired previously. Don't know if this is common but was not a deal breaker. Everything works, carpets and even leather are in good condition, though the driver's seat is beginning to show impending cracks. I'll slather it with Lexol and hope for the best.

PO added 285/75 BFG ATs but didn't change the spare, so that's the first thing I had to address. Tires have 12k on them so it's a little late to buy another one of the same kind and add to the rotation, so I found a nearly worn out but never punctured Toyo mudder in the right size on Craig's list. It'll do until it's time for tires again.

Not a daily driver, but will see some mostly freeway commute time. I'll use it mostly for photo/shooting expeditions in places where most passenger cars can't go. Not certain what mods I'll make until I figure out what I really need, but here's my initial thinking:

Raise or relocate spare tire.
Rear storage organization.
Upgrade shocks, probably no lift.
Install on-hand Pioneer in-dash nav/radio unit, upgrade speakers, add subwoofer.
Front and rear offroad bumpers, looking at ARB.
HID headlight upgrade, foglights and offroad driving lights, including rear-facing, since I don't see as well in the dark as I used to.

There's a wealth of information on this site which I'll use to guide the process.
