Got in one last drive before the first salt here in Va. Now we're parked and the snow is falling.

Seems like all I do with it these days is make beer runs to the general store

You’re the one who has to look yourself in the mirror. I’ll ask again in 6 months.
If an exhaust related CEL keeps you from being able to look yourself in the mirror on something you aren't even driving I think there may be larger issues at play with you :flipoff2:

Understatement of the year; touché.

All seriousness though I'm not the type to just let it roll. Hoping to take my son on his first camping trip this spring and I can't imagine my wife's face with that thing blaring as I load him into his carseat in the back..

What’s your daily driver if not the 80? I didn’t know VA got a lot of snow and salted their roads. Just curious, are you throwing any codes as well?

I work from home so no real need for a DD, though I always do keep a well-worked beater around just in case I need it. Currently I have a 2006 Volvo XC70.

Va doesn't get a terrible amount of snow, maybe 2-5 storms per year at least where I'm located. Cars here don't get super rusty typically but after spending some time in NY at a young age, any amount of salt is enough to scare me.

I was stationed in Norfolk from 05-08 and we got snow once. It was not what I was used to seeing having grown up in the PNW. It literally looked like frost and was gone before noon.

Awesome looking rig.

Got my cruiser back in tip-top shape for the season, no CEL and all.

While it was there, had a few maintenance items addressed:

-all new OEM heater hoses/cooling system is now 100% new OEM
-new OEM PCV valve kit
-throttle body service
-coolant flush
-trans drain/refill
-new brake fluid
-new powerstreering fluid
-new diff/t-case gear oil
-engine oil change
-new OEM valve cover gasket/tube seals
-new OEM dist cap/rotor
-new OEM ignition wires
-new OEM alternator
-install gamiviti seat gears in both front seats

Awesome cargo! Why do we feel so good about spending our retirements and kids college funds on the car? Toyota knew they would create a thing of addiction.

You should just delete the ABS, remove the light, or let me know what parts not good anymore. I think I still have my ABS booster from the delete.
